Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born February 22, 1983. She is an American actress and comedian. She was the winner of the 2008 edition of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went to host the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
In 2017, Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix launched the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born New York City to a Jewish family. She was raised up in Dallas, Texas by her parents, who relocated to Dallas as a young baby. She attended Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. She was a student at the school, studying Spanish, and was part the school’s improvisation team.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas. She also attended the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also a part-time participant in Semester at Sea. She went to Emerson College in Boston. The college was where she studied film and edited. She was also a member in comedy sketch group Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

After graduating from college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. Shlesinger was a well-known member of the Whiteboy Comedy standup comedy group in Los Angeles. This brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
